Its been a long time coming. Two years, to be precise. Or you could go back further to when the band started fundraising in early 2015 with friday night pizzas at The Prince Albert. Or further still to their last EP release in October 2014. Or to the very beginning...
Either way, a lot has happened since then for Low Chimes, formerly Hot Feet. The main thing they've been doing, though, is writing, recording and assembling their debut album, 'Illumine'.
This evening will celebrate the release of this work - a huge milestone in the band's journey which began in Stroud almost 10 years ago and along the way has seen them pick up support from BBC 6 Music DJs en masse and acclaim from the likes of The Line Of Best Fit, Clash and Gold Flake Paint.
Support will come in the form of The Magic Lantern, aka Jamie Doe. Jamie will be performing his beautifully crafted songs with a new band made up of some of London's finest Jazz musicians, fresh from recording his third studio album, 'To The Islands'.
